The BisonCam drivers for 6625WD are from 2006.

Do you know if a newer driver exists? Perhaps with performance increase (more fps) or more picture clarity? Or has the driver production been terminated for these webcams?

Zepto don't seem to make new drivers, at least not on the ftp:
    ftp://ftp.zepto.dk/

For what it's worth, I've been scouring the internet for an updated driver but
it seems this hardware is clearly old (for a brand new laptop) and unlikely to get updated.

If you find anything please let us know!

I never use the webcam, partially cos it makes my face full of red dots (big ones) and the picture is really dark, even if I have my desklamp in my face

It's a shame it doesn't capture in widescreen, as native resolution. My face gets streched when viewing full screen :)
