    Hi All!
I know that Zepto is out of business and thats sad, but still- id need help with my problem and i hope some of u can give me good advice.

Problem is as follows- when playing mmorpgs, i get this "rebooting sound" that HDD or CD rom is doing that sound like "klonk-klonk" and my screen turns black. No keys are responsive and there is nothing i can do except manually resetting the laptop. The problem has never occurred when just browsing net or playing games like GTA IV or Assassins Creed. The problem occurs randomly, sometimes i can play an hour, sometimes 3, before it kicks in. Has anyone had the same/similar problem? What could be the reason of this?

I have gone through the thread "Problem with NVidia GPU chips" and im not quite sure if thats the case, since i have NVidia Geforce M130 on my laptop.. but since its a descendent of NVidias GT 9650, which was listed in the articles as having the problem, then maybe i have faulty chip also?

And also: maybe someone knows some good software to register your computers stats...so i can go through the data after the "Black screen" occurred and see wheres the problem?

    I would appreciate any advice/suggestions,

    Thank You.

    Hi REB!
No, I have not oveclocked it, it has manufacturers settings. I also kept my eye on the temperatures, while gaming and turns out that GPU core is about 80 deg. and CPU cores are around 50 deg.

But do you agree it has the symptoms of the GPU shutting itself down? Does it go like this when it is for example too hot and GPU shuts down to prevent damage?

    Thx

No, it doesnt have those symptoms, with the sound and stuff.. Not how my GPUs has shutted down ever.. Besides, it should really be able to hold 80 celcius without any issues, i know my 9600m does..

But in any case, try to play with the pc lifted, and perhaps over a table edge so theres plenty of space for the fan to get fresh and 'cool' air.. Just to test.

    Hi REB!

Its actually a good idea- and was thinking of it myself too. Maybe to cut a hole into my table, so it get plenty of air without lifting it.

That oughta like to my girlfriend :D

    Thx!
