I recently formated and installed XP Pro Sp2 on my HGL30 after a hard drive replacement. There are about 60 Windows updates needed but when the computer reboots I get a brief blue screen flash which I can't read and it goes back into restart. The only way I can stop this is with Safe Boot and then System Restore. I can only install one update at a time which is going to be a lot of starting and stopping. Has anyone had a similar problem? I can find nothing in Microsoft support except several people have reported the same thing recently. One thoery is something is wrong with Intel Core Duo but I just don't know.
