The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    So zepto got version 3.something on their ftp, but that version prompted me with some newer version check, so I desided to upgrade. On bluesoleils site they talk about a 5mb criple if your version isn't licensed to that version. As you might have guessed, zepto's version is, I have at least transfered a great deal more data through bluetooth than 5mb.
    BS v5 has got a modern explorer look which fits vista better :)


    The point of this thread: Are you using windows bluetooth service, BS 3.x or have you tried v5?

    using version 5 now works great.. btw if you want to find working non crippled version 5 google is your freind...

    Yeah, have a new 6024w and BlueSoleil 5 works without any license. The buy and register buttons in BlueSoleil are grey so I can't click on them.
