I think that either HD-DVD or blueray are a bit too early in the development to go into laptops, I mean, they arnt even compatible with eachother (?) and the price is somewhere in the skies.

Ok it might be good for backups and such, but a ext.hdd is cheaper and bigger (in GB). Nowadays they are so small that they fit into the pocket too.

At the moment I am not interested: I believe this can only read, not burn to BD (hence the "combo" in the name) and I have no plan to buy any Blu-ray disks which are incompatible with every other player in the house. Maybe next year...

There's currently a great deal of uncertainity between the Blue-Ray and HD systems. As said, not compatible with each other or majority of drives. Best to wait until there is clarity and the price falls to a sensible level. Really not worth it at the moment.

Besides my favourite colour is pink, So I will wait for the 'pinkray'. :D
