Hello everyone I have a couple of questions if someone would be so kind in helping out.
I have a Compal 80-EL everybody says it is bluetooth ready but when I try to install the provided software it gives me an error message saying there is no bluetooth device present. If there is a bluetooth modal installed where would it be located in the laptop so I can physically see if there is one installed.
The other question is where do I find hardware for the Compal 80-EL ie. TV card and so on?

    thanks for the help

The bluetooth should be under the hard drive. Unplug the power cord and remove the battery. Remove the hard drive cover, then remove the 2 screws holding the drive in. Slide it back to disconnect it and lift it out. Under the end where the drive was connected, you should be able to see the little BT card or a where it's suppose to be mounted along with a loose wire.

I want to get one of these since I did not get one six month ago when I got my sager 2090.

Wich one of these do Xotic PC and Powernotebooks use?

Will I be able to use the drivers that on the compal site or do these come with drivers?

Also very important, will they work with hardware switch wich turns on wireless and bluetooth on IFL90(Sager2090).

Is your Sager 2090 a Compal IFL90 if so then this should work, correct me if I'm wrong guys. So if it is a Compal then I cant see the drivers not working from the Compal website. have you checked the links above that Jernkar so graciously provided for us. If not check it out. the only thing is make sure to use the right drivers if you use the Compal drivers they have Intel drivers and Compal drivers. As for the drivers coming with the module I cant answer that I will let you know when I receive my module

    Regards
    Brent

If you want to "change" your video card you mean replace it with the same video card because yours has failed the answer is yes.

But if by "change" you mean upgrade to an 8700M or higher the answer is no.
