    Hello fellow NR-members,

I upgraded my laptop with the bluetooth-chip today (it wasn't available until now), and it works well, so I'm happy with it. The only thing that concerns me is that switching the switch on the front turns the WiFi off, but the BT as well. Is there any way I can seperately control the BT and WiFi? I want to have the BT permanently switched off until I'm gonna use it. How do I do that  ?

The wireless switching application in your tray can switch them independently. The switch on the front will only allow both or neither to run, you can't selectively switch them on/off with the hardware.

I don't have a wireless switching application. What's it called? I probably didn't install it at first since I didn't have the BT then.

Edit: never mind, found it. Thank you very much :). Wasn't aware of the existence of such application.
