Hello, well I installed windows MCE then used the drivers CD that came with the computer. Then I updated windows to the latest versions of things.
My problem is that when I click on "MY Bluetooth places" or the configure utility in the control panel, there is a long pause...then I get a window stating from the Bluetooth Setup Wizard that
"bluetooth device not found. Please verify that the bluetooth device is properly connected and turned on."
In the hardware device manager I see a Bluetooth Enumerator but nothing else under the devices.
Please for the love of god tell me they installed the blinking thing! After all I did pay for it.

UPDATE: The problem I had was that the bluetooth module was not in fact installed, as although I was using the wireless switch to activate the wireless functionailty I also was required to use FN+F2 to power the hardware/enable. Thanks to Zepto Denmark Customer Support who solved my problem quickly by email.
The module is now recognised and installed. However I have a new problem which might be more software related than hardware, and I'd wish to avoid contacting Zepto directly if someone on the forum can help.
Although It's all installed correctly. I cannot physically use the bluetooth on the computer. It wont search for devices such as my bluetooth mouse or allow it to be turned on for discovery from my mobile phone. Please help.

UPDATE: I was in good contact with Danish customer support on the issue, Rene from the forums ruled out hardware failure stating he has yet to see a failed Bluetooth module.
I then submitted to the inevitable fix for glitches that are unexplained. A full system reinstallation. Everything is now working flawlessly as it should.
I would suggest anyone who is installing their own operating system on the Compal Hel80 should ensure the Wireless Select Switch is turned on before booting up the computer for the first time. I believe the installation of my Bluetooth [BT] was corrupted due to installing the software before the hardware was enabled. I did not realise the Switch must power the BT module unit, and if this is switched to off mode then your computer will not physically be speaking to the BT Module at time of installation. As I remember the Bluetooth installation software could not locate the hardware and aborted mid process, I think this was the catalyst to my future problems with the BT.
Conclusions, I do not know a fix for the problem I had other than reinstalling the operating system. But I feel my problem could have be avoided if I just had ensured the BT module was powered (turn on the Wireless Select Switch at the front of the unit) before installing windows and the system drivers. Danish customer support at Zepto is pleasant, competent and has fast email response times and helpful in their approach. Thanks to them. I felt I should update my forum post with running commentary for anyone who searches my specific problem. -
Thanks for posting your findings. I'm sure that will come in handy for others down the road.
