If you would also like to add Widow PC Sting 917 models etc. I have a Widow Sting and it is great, quick, stable, AMD X2 4800+, 2 GB RAM Apacer, 7800 GTX, x2 100 GB Seagate 7200, 2 Pioneer Multidrives DVD etc. I would highly recommend Widow PC, they build quality and have the CUSTOMER SERVICE to back it.

Cool list, Goren. I bet you did quite a bit of research to get that info. I remember having to nearly force it out of a Voodoo salesperson via email.

BTW - It's my first time going the "Other Manufacturers" forum...

It should also be noted that the screen of a Uniwill 259EN3 comes in either WXGA or WSXGA+. I've seen them both. The WXGA screen is always glossy. The WSXGA+ version that I have is kinda like a matte, anti-glare screen. The Rock Pegasus 650 has a WSXGA+ screen while the Alienware M5500 has a WXGA screen with the said differences of matte and glossy. I should say that the matte screen of the WSXGA+ version good quite good. It's as good as most glossy screens when it comes to brightness and contrast, but nowhere near as good as those really good glossy screens like the ones used by Sony or Toshiba with the XBRITE or whatever special label.

Should probably remove KillerNotebooks from the list. As far as I can tell they're pretty much out of business (support forum suspended, Mark's phone number disconnected, etc).

I have a stack of ECS MB based laptops. These laptops were sold under the Fry's GV ( Great Value ), ECS Green, Infinity, Winbook ( Micro Center brand ) and a host of other vendors.

They run like typical high end sports cars. When they run, they run FAST ( they supported a 2.8 Ghz P4 out of the box ) but can tend to be temperamental at times.

I can swap support stuff for 732 and 733 models. I'm looking for BIOS upgrades for the 733 ( mini PCI ) models.
