Hi everyone. I've just seen the Zepto laptops today and read some reviews on them and they seem to be amazing! I mean 8600M GT 512MB is just insane! Anyways I'm considering buying one but which Gamer one to get I just don't know!![]()

Would you mind posting a new thread in the ''What notebook should I buy'' section, and filling out the FAQ?
-
Well the reason I posted in this forum is because it's within the Zepto range and there are a limited amount of laptops to choose from. I don't like having to answer all these questions when it isn't necessary. I just want simple answer/opinions.

Ok fine
According to the zepto site...the Znote 3415 is going on sale in......exactly
1 day 1 hr 33 minsSo i would wait and see what happens lol!

We have the 6625WD and 3415W for the 15inch range, the barebones are made by different manufacturers and the screen resolution is 1650X1080 on the 6625WD and 1280X800 on the 3415W
We also put the 8600GT in a 14inch notebook as well, 6224W/6324W -
Is the 3415 new? Which laptops are actually made by Zepto then?
-
The barebones are made by Compal and Inventec, 2 of the biggest barebone manufacturers in the world.
The 3415W was launched back in may. Some of the components have changed as we are always buying the latest in Hard drivers ,CPUs etc
The graphics card is coming together with the barebone
All notebook companies have a barebone manufacturer which they buy from -
Yes it is me Iann hello
. Ok well it's between the 3415W and 6625WD, what do you guys think is better? If the offer tomorrow is really good it might be 3415W I go for.
-
Whatever you go for. We offer 14 days of return if your not happy as it hard to see them, however the website has some nice HQ photos
-
Well from what I can see I think it might well be the 3415W I go for. Can't wait to see this offer! Did the 3415W come out later?
-
-
Yes, I predict another £100 off
-
that would be CrAzY!
Oh well we will see, you may not believe that I dont know ther offer but I will only find out in the morning -
It would be crazy but out of this world!!!

I can say that while the 6625wd is a nice machine, the keyboard is really
cheap. There's also (for some) a weird bump in the laptop frame above
the keyboard, and the bios (for many, not all) is lacking fan control which
results in loud environments (for some). None of the issues with the
expection of the bios will be fixable (apparently) and the bios won't be
fixed most likely for sometime (according to Zepto rep).
Also, if you do opt for the 6625wd, carefuly how much ram you purchase!
If I had things to do over and were going to spend the money of the 6625wd,
I would reconsider a laptop from Alienware.
Hope this helps! -
Thanks for the advice but just to comment back on this I'm going to get the 3415W, any opinions on it? And I don't want an Alienware, they're far too big, bloated and over-priced.
-
the performance is top solid, I play Crysis with quite a few effects on high (as long as you keep the shadow effects down) without any problems, man, I can't even explain how happy I am with it.
-
I know mate, I am so excited you honestly don't know!!!

Anyone wanna buy a 6625wd?!
-
Want the 3415W now then?
-
ChristopherGrant Notebook Consultant
Nah, alienware!
But I bet you get more bank for your
buck on the 3415w though. -
T7500
2GB ram
200GB 7200rpm hdd
TV tuner
2yr warranty
9cell battery
Vista home premium
......= £750....what a great deal. -
Zepto is now my notebook god, think I'll do a small altar in my room for the package the 3415W came in where I can worship it/them.
