I turned on my notebook today and apparently someone put a BIOS password on it. I took my laptop all the way apart to take out the CMOS battery and reset everything, but it's soldered to my motherboard and I really don't wanna mess with it. There's no jumper on the motherboard I can move to reset the password either. I can't boot to a CD / Floppy / USB drive or do ANYTHING. I've tried all backdoor Phoenix BIOS passwords I could find. Anyone know of any other way to bypass this? Is it true you can get a working password by using the 5 numbers it gives you after 3 failed attempts? System Disabled (14508)

Discussion of bypassing security measures like bios passwords are prohibited by the forum rules. IF you legally own the notebook, contact the vender/company you bought the notebook from.
