Does anyone think the 6130 might benefit from a CPU Cool program like Rain? Might it not even help extend battery life?

    Vortex,

No, it will not help at all. Unless you are still running windows 95/98/ME. Most linux versions and windows NT now include what rain is doing, they HALT when idle.

I am not sure if the processor in the 6100 is halt capable. I was looking at some processor specs that i got from some program ( i think it was from intel) and under halt, it said no.

Maybe, but this processor seems to be the deviant from all other standards that Intel uses on all the other processors. It doens't have any speed/power control, no halt, and who knows what else. i am getting this info from the CPUID program from intel.
