This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    We had this discussion previously. I think the conclusion is that you would be considered responsible for any damage caused by your actions (for example, the keyboard breaks when you try to remove it) but the warranty for other components (for example the display) would not be affected. If my memory is correct, someone provided a link to a Zepto document describing the 6x24W keyboard removal. I don't know if the 6625WD has a similar arrangement. What I do know is that heavy gaming (with consequent high fan activity) means the computer is likely to act as a vacuum cleaner. The photos in this thread illustrate the potential problem.
