My CPU temperature sensor seems to be broken or something.

Situation: yesterday I turned off my laptop, CPU temp between 42-50°C. When I rebooted this morning, my CPU temp was 4°C. I figured this couldn't be good, rebooted again and now it's 24°C. Although the fan's still working as it should, I wonder what's causing this. I should note that Everest says that the CPU temp is 46°C, and both the cores are somewhere in the 20°C.

Oh, and I should also note that my mom was the last person to use it before the CPU temp went 20 degrees down ;) .

HEL-80, CoreTemp gives me the same temperature as every other program.

And strangely enough, the GPU temperature seems to be 10°C lower when using an external screen. Hmm, I'll have to examine that.

BIOS reset does magic things, CPU temp is what it's supposed to be now.
