Hi, I researched the 6615 as a notebook to buy, and as it would happen I have to do some ICT coursework about laptop computers, so I chose this Zepto. I know most things about it, but, can the optical drive be taken out and a second battery or second hard disk be put in there as can be done with other laptops?

    Thanks for your help.

I doubt it. Unless the optical drive is listed as hot-swappable or as a bay drive, it is probably not possible. It is not a standard feature on most notebook systems.

The Asus W3J has that ability if you are looking for a system that does it.
