Can anyone tell me where PgUp/PgDown are on these things?

I played with an i3 14" vizio model today at walmart (they didn't have any, just the display) and I couldn't for the life of me find page up/down functionality. Home and end were combos of FN+Left and FN+Right cursor keys but FN+Up/Down did nothing.

    Anyone?

Wow well over 100 views and not a single reply. That tells me that very few people actually have these units yet so they can't comment.

Its wierd... it looked at the one in the store again today. Can't for the life of me find a pgup/pgdwn or Fn+, Ctrl+ or Alt+ way to get one.

Why not just use the up/down arrows? It's better imo since it does not scroll as much.

That might work ok for your average web page but not when your paging through 10k+ lines of code. I use Page up/down, home, end heavily on a daily basis.

I've never ran into a computer that flat out didn't have page up/down available in some way on the keyboard. It has to be there somewhere, there just isn't any labeling and the common choices aren't used.

I played with one at a walmart. There is almost no special key labeling on the keyboard so I started playing. Fn+Left Arrow = Home and Fn+Right Arrow = End which is fairly common.

But can't find any combination for Page Up/Down.

I actually like the keyboard, but the missing functions make it a no go for me. If i wanted a keyboard that had missing functions and keys in odd places Id get a mac air and put windows on it. lol.

Btw, the one at walmart was speced and priced differently than ive seen. It had a 1600x900 screen, i3 processor, think a 128ssd and 4gb of ram and was priced at $888.

The screen looked really good. If only the keyboard were up to par. It didn't have an SD card slot either... although USB3 drives are SO much faster than SD at this point thats probably not a big loss.

So FN+Spacebar+ UP/Down arrows? I tried FN+Up/Down never thought to add spacebar to the mix. I'll have to give it a try.

No its either FN + spacebar for pg dn or use FN and the up and down.

Ive confirmed that Fn+Up Arrow and Fn+Down Arrow do not act as Page Up or Page Down.

I have confirmed that they do on my vizio ct15. Now just so were clear page up and down move the screen a page at a time up or down. One check the FN utility because maybe someone adjusted it. Mine is set to special function mode.

Trust me something must not be set right if they already set home and end key there why would they now set pg up and down. Also fn tab goes all the way to the top of the page almost.

Love it for the most part. The screen and design are really good. The keyboard and trackpad are not great or even good. But there is nothing else out there to buy in 15 inch ultrabooks, it's all down hill from here.

I have the A1 trying to get an A2

G-day - I have a new ct14-a2 - and at least on my machine Fn + up arrow = screen up Fn + down arrow = screen down Fn + R arrow = End, and Fn + L arrow + Home. At least on my machine. As to my overall review? It is fast, the screen is great - I killed the trackpad in favor of my wireless mouse. My biggest gripe is the keyboard. It is - at least for me - WAY WAY too sensitive! I keep getting double letters - aa instead of a, ss instead of s. The chaps on Live Chat had me lower the repeat delay, but it did not help. I do not miss the camera card slot - have a 9-buck addaptor that works well (see - I just typed two "d" letters when I only hit the key once). SIGH. So I'm giving the Vizio a 4.5 in general, but only a 3 for the keyboard - which drives me crazy!!! Respectfully, LarryR
