Just wondering, can we get better gaming performance out of the dell 1520 or asus c90 (comparing the IFL90)?

For a 15", no system will beat the gaming performance or potential of the c90. It just sacrifices a lot to get that performance.

will the c90 have any heat issues and am I going to have to wait a lot longer to get it (considering I ordered an IFL90 WXSGA+ around early June)?

Well desktop processor do produce more heat then notebook processor but i think the Asus C90s should have a good cooling system since it has 4 fans(i think) and a huge "super vent". But we wont know for sure untill we get more/better(in depth) review.

    I would say C90, G1S, IFL90 in that order

Dell is an unknown, I know the IFL90 with 1gig of ram outperformed BB's version of the Aspire with the 8600gt in it, although thats going for a low 1100 bucks.

sco_fri is exactly right. The C90 should rival lots of desktops but it sacrifices battery life.

The G1S will be somewhat faster than the IFL90 because the IFL90 has an underclocked GPU but we haven't seen many FPS comparisons yet. The G1S also is targeted at gamers with flashing lights and green trim. Either you'll like that or you won't.

The IFL90 will have the best battry life of the three.

All 3 will have similar build qualities.

So it just matters whats more important to you, speed, flashy looks or battery life.
