It says on some websites that you can't upgrade the RAM. I've heard some people do it.

I know of some Asus models that says RAM is not upgradable, but when you open the laptop, there's an extra slot for RAM. How about this one?

Has anyone opened it to see if there is an additional slot for RAM?

    Thanks for the info.
Almost all of the motherboards have two slots for RAM. From that article, it is not clear if the installed RAM is one 4GB unit or two 2GB.
If only one 4GB RAM is installed, most likely, the other slot is empty, and you can install an extra. That's what I'm trying to figure out.

I'm excited to get my CT14-A1 tomorrow evening. I hope the touchpad/keyboard is not as bad as the reviews say.
