    Thank you Dirt & Sikander, great article, beside the temperature improvement, it seems to me that the overall improvement versus the risk suggest that it is not worth it to upgrade from my T7700 up to the Penryn T9500.

    I keep my ears opened though, to those who have killed their laptops while installing a Penryn. And be precised, what did it brake (e.g. The penryn) as you could also go back to the previous CPU and come out of the laptop cementery.
