What a surprise....... /sarc ATI has always seemed to have problems with drivers haven't they? If true, I'll guess we'll have to wait even longer to see what our cards can actually do when given proper driver support.

well if definitely fixed an issue where I had to alt tab to get the fps to jump back to normal everytime L4D loaded a new map. That's a good enough improvement in my book!

Hopefully this will improve performance regardless with the mobility modder...or not. We'll wait and see.

It still has problem with scaling if you modded by mobility modder. I don't have farcry2 so I can't test the performance (farcry2 is the most improvement from release not)

hmm..I've only 1 game that release note show the improvement. I have run DMC4 and got same performance with 8.10 stock driver. so I back to stock driver because it's only 1 driver that doesn't has scaling problem. I think E-wrecked will run farcry2 when he online. wait and see...

Anyone have STALKER Clear Sky and have played it with 8.12? I created a separate topic about the horrible performance I was getting when I was able to run a slew of other games on max. Just curious if anyone else has run it.

    EDIT

    Just saw this:

It should also be noted that this is the Beta version of 8.12 not the final.

so 5-10% gained is not much. it's only 2-5 fps up to games.
