    Hi there,

I need to know if I can make a couple of changes to my computer.

    One would be a CPU Mobile DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo T7300, 2200 MHz (11 x 200) for a T9300.

The other question is if I change the standard HDD for a SSD and if anyone would serve.

    Thank you very much.

T7300 -> T9300 should not be a problem, I had a T9300 running for a long time. You might need a newer BIOS as the temperature readings might be wrong (1.18 BIOS)

HDD to SSD is even simpler - plug and play. Not sure which one is best, depends on how much you want to spend. I would not buy one larger than 256GB, prices still very high. I never had an SSD in my FL90s, only HDDs.

    Good luck

Thank you very much for your response Dr.Colossos.

I might say, if you know, what would be the maximum processor I could put in my case? To assess if I'm interested.

As you update the BIOS, I have downloaded the latest I've found, the 1.18, I have 1.10 now. I have not been able to find any more current. I imagine that this will be the last (apart from the 1.19 is not recommended as I read).

    Thanks again and best regards.

Yes, 1.19 is the latest, but keep your hands off that.

The maximum would be the Intel Core 2 Duo T9900 I think, also there was the extreme series with X9100 or so. I think the T9300 is a good choice, and you can get it for around 40€ now. I think T9500, T9600 should also work, not sure.

I can only confirm the T9300 to work flawless in my FL90, maybe browse this forum for other reports.

    Good luck
