not really, all you need to know is how to open the panel where the hard drive is, and read the instructions on how to install it. and you should be good.

edit, or look at the pics lol

OK that is great, what is the biggest baddest, fastest....HD around?

    I got:

    100GB 7200 rpm SATA Harddisk Hitachi®

A 7200 rpm hard disk drive is the market's fastest hard drive for laptop computers. This hard disk drive is recommended for more demanding graphical applications or games that require speed and a lot of reading from the harddrive.

    Capacity: 100GB
    Interface: Serial ATA-150
    Average seek time: 10ms
    Rotational speed: 7200 rpm
    Buffer memory: 8MB

Is the 160 similar to spec? but with 60GB more? (the 100GB formats to 93)

The biggest and fastest is the 200gb 7200rpm Hitachi which is about $250 in the states right now. The 160gb 7200rpm can also be had for about $165 us dollars.

The 100gb 7200rpm is probably the most cost effective though because they are still charging a premium for the 160gb and 200gb hard drives.

The 250GB 5400rpm disk runs at speeds very similar to the 100gb 7200RPM disks but not as fast as the 160-200GB 7200RPM disks.

I think the 250GB disks are a very good deal. Cheaper even then the 160GB 7200RPM disk.

Would I lose my warranty if I install a larger harddrive by myself?
    (I'm guessing yes?)

No, that shouldn't void your warranty. I think you can change your RAM or HD by yourself in any desktop or laptop without voiding your warranty (if it doesn't somehow damage the computer 'coz some error you made).

To be shure, you can always mail Zepto about it or wait for one of them to answer to that question here in the forums. :)
