    I have a 6625WD with the above wireless card built in , is it possible to replace this card with another make like a atheros for instance?

    what os? i remember having some trouble installing this card in ubuntu 7.10

    The cards are interchangable. For example, Zepto normally offer a choice.

    I think the 6625WD is similar the 6024W, with the wireless card under the keyboard.
