I travel a lot with my 2370. I use a Targus backpack and leave it packed with all the gadgets I need to set up an office environment from whatever hotel or customer site I'm working from. But I already have everything I need in-place at my work-office desk and my home-office desk. The backpack needs to stay ready for travel, but I was carting excess weight and bulk on my daily commute.

I found my perfect carry case for the daily transit at WalMart. I know there are some variations in products between stores, so if this interests you, I hope your WalMart carries the item.

In the luggage section, I found an American Tourister Toiletry Organizer Bag for $12.54. The bag's demensions are 13.25" X 9" X 4". It has a 10 year warranty, but I doubt it would be honored after I took a razor and sliced out all the internal pockets. I left the plastic lining in place, which makes the bag fairly weather resistant (rain could still seep through the zipper).

The bag is the usual heavy duty luggage nylon shell and comes in black, blue and red (I selected black). It has carry handles like most softside briefcases and an outside zippered pocket perfect for the AC adapter and one or two small accessories. The size of the main case allows for the notebook and a maybe a book, but not so much space that the computer is allowed to bang around.

When I decide to replace my Targus backpack, I may not look for a computer specific bag. The toiletry bag isn't much bulkier than a sleeve and I could use whatever style outer bag best fit my needs. :)

I found a Kenneth Cole messenger back (soft suede leather) in a person's For Sale posting on another forum and it fits my 2370 PERFECTLY.

    3 Cheers for innovation!
