    This thing is a collectors item but its a nascar laptop my friend recently crashed it said he disabled the mainslave and stuff in the boot menu it started up before but now the screen wont come on any ideas? I took the cover off and checked the Processor and stuff its all good.

    @ OP: Check to see if there's a BIOS reset button on the bottom of the notebook. If there is, it should be a pin-sized hole and you'll have to access it with a paperclip. If there isn't a button, then there should be a button on the motherboard. You may have to disassemble your notebook to access it.

    yea try what david said ....

    by the sound of it you stopped it rom booting on the hard drive sincle thats the only thing i can think of with main/slave


    there was another thread on here where the guys LCD inverter fried ... it could be a common problem i don't know
