Hey I got a blue screen of death a few hours ago and as a result I have not be able to boot into windows xp, it just stays at the loading screen with the blue bar going back and forth. The problem with installing windows xp all over again is that it doesn't recognize SATA harddrives off the bat. So, I've got a usb powered floppy drive, the drivers CD that goes with my computer, and a window xp pro installation CD.

This has actually happened to me before, but under different circumstances. Now I know that I can put the files under the chipset folder and some other files onto a floppy drive. The problem is that I don't know exactly which files need to be on the floppy drive, and in what type of structure, in terms of folders and whatnot. If you need anymore info. let me know, I'm starting to get at my wits end here.
