My HEL80 has a Matshita UJ-850S according to Belarc Advisor. This agrees with the PowerPro L 8:15 specs on the PowerNotebooks.com website. Matshita is made by Panasonic.

My Hel-80 has the exact same DVD drive as eggum's. It says it is a DVD-RAM Matshita UJ-850S.
