First of all I have to tell that my english is not the best but i will try :)

I have WinVista installed on my CL56 and I want to use readyboost to add more 1Gb of Ram to my Pc... I have a fast card memory, SanDisk Extreme III but the problem is that when i insert the card don't have the readyboost option on it??? Some people can solve this problem by installing the last drivers for is card reader but the last ones for Winbond Card SD Card Reader are from 2003... anyone tried readyboost on CL56 sd card reader??? please need help...

    Thanks for all

No one here with CL56 had tried readyboost in sd card slot???

    Gasuinas,
    Welcome to the forums.

Your English is fine. I have no personal experience with readyboost, but hopefully someone here does who can give you some input on your question. My initial reaction would be that it would be very difficult to do, if not impossible, to get an SD card to act as RAM with your system.

In the meantime, you may want to call your reseller and ask them. They may be able to answer your question very quickly.

No, it is possible, many people do that and I do that in my girlfriends notebook with my sd memory card. The problem is that my sd card reader is not recognized by readyboost... please if anyone have CL56 try to use an sd card with readyboost...

Yes, I apologize for doubting the possibility of doing what you're looking to do. As I said, I have no personal experience with readyboost.

We really don't get a lot of CL56 owners in here these days though, so as I mentioned earlier, it would be worthwhile to try contacting your reseller to see what they have to say about this.
