Hey, so I was on my computer, and it blue screened x6.. restarted it and it will load but it keeps the 6 screens, i can kind of manage through into windows and when I go to screen settings it says the nvidia can not be found. Do i need to replace the video card? from the forums it looks like this has happened to a lot of people.

    Thanks,
    Roy

If you are getting display corruption before the operating system even loads (i.e. when you first turn the computer on), then yes, your GPU is toast. If, however, you only see this behavior in Windows, then it is possible your problem is merely a broken operating system -- sometimes when it blue screens, system files become corrupted.

There's a pretty nice thread about it here. Your options are to either buy a new laptop (which is what I would recommend) or try to fix the old one. You can do the latter by either baking the broken GPU (may or may not work) or replacing it with a different GPU (be careful with compatibility -- only some cards will work).

Yep, 100% sure your gfx is gone. In this state (the 6 screens), baking will revive it, I am quite sure ... but no one knows for how long.

Taking the FL90 apart is tricky, but doable for anyone.

Post back if you need more help!

    Good luck!

Sad day. Is there a market for these in its current state? I think i'd rather look for a new one then go through the hassle if it wont be permanent. Thanks

Put it on ebay. Without the hdd you can get 100 to 150€ for it.
