    Hi all,

So I just pulled the trigger on a Compal HEL80 through powernotebooks.com (Thanks, Donald!) and I have a couple of accesories that I need to get and I want to ask the opinions of the users on this forum.

    1) I found this Bluetooth remote and I would like to know if any HEL80 users have used this with their machine. It looks really cool and stores in the ExpressCard slot for portability. Does anyone know if this could be used with the HEL80 TV Tuner? (I'm thinking not, but you never know.

    2) I need to purchase a wireless a/b/g router. Does anyone have any suggestions for models that they have had success with?

    Thanks for your help,

if you want a standard 54mbps g signal, netgear/dlink/belkin are the cheapest. i bought a 40 dollar netgear one and it's been working just fine.

That router should work just fine.

Another good cheap one is the Linksys WRT54G.

I personally buy alot of Xterasys networking gear.. I've had great luck with them and even sold them through a PC parts/repair store I used to manage. Newegg.com and Fry's usually have Xterasys... They are an OEM.. so you might be buying there stuff and not even know it =P

This not really a review.. but in general I haven't found much very negative about this router. Some have had issues with setting it up..signal strength perhaps, or said it gets too warm. For 30 bucks, it seems great, especially since you'll be within short range here in NYC. It has WPA-spk encryption which you should use as it's a bit harder to get hacked then with Wep128. Belkin is nice too, i have the Belkin 54g and love it. http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=179477
