    where do I find the BIOS Battery in my Compal Hel 80? I am not able to find it.

    Hey Chris,

    I am not sure exactly where the BIOS battery is located but it won't be the same battery type as in your desktop. Usually it is a smaller cell, and it is coated in something rubbery. It will have 2 wires coming from it and they will plug into your laptops motherboard somewhere :)

    Generally (from the laptops I have taken apart) it is closer to the front of the laptop. You will almost definitely have to remove the entire shell to get at the battery.
