I use a 12volt DC to 110 volt AC power converter. The 12v end plugs into the cig. lighter socket and I plug my AC 110v plug for the laptop into the converter. I think the converter is rated for 75 watts. It will also power other things like a TV (not 1 with CTR tube).

Search eBay for "12 volt power converter" and look for someone who ships international. I would think that there would be some sellers in China or Hong Kong who would ship all over the world.
