still not nearly as fast as the asus g1. I think I'm gonna go with the asus c90. hopefully I can get at least an hour from that running on the battery.

for me so disappointing results are because of the core 2 duo t7100 weakness
(you should have stronger processor for this graphics card)

is the gap between the T7100 and T7300 that obvious?

Would it also be applicable to real life performance of games and such?

If the performance was limited by the CPU, overclocking the GPU wouldn't change very much, like it does here.

The majority of the performance loss is from the extremely low clocked memory on the 8600M.

Is that score for the IFL90 right? I run a 3927 on 3D Mark 06 @ stock speeds and I thought these 2 notebooks would perform about the same( with similar specs of course).

Yeah, but with a 7100 processor. The French review in kdawgs link got it close to your score but that was overclocking it of course. The IFL90 appears to be GDDR2 or seriously underclocked GDDR3, maybe both, I dunno :) I thought fakes scores looked pretty good considering the processor he has in there.

Please, make 3DMark05 result as default, 06 to much depends on CPU speed, so it's really difficult to compare.

can u state what the stock memory bandwidth is? you probably already said it, but i dont really understand to much bout garphic cards.

it seems that 8600gts come in either 12.8GB/s or 22.4GB/s. which one does the IFL90 come with?
