Hey guys I bought a compal ifl90/sager2090 1.5 years ago and im rebooting everything now starting from scratch. I was wondering where one downloads the newest drivers/bios for the ifl90 and also how you install the bios, and what order to install the drivers in. I am kind of a noob to this so any help would really be appreciated! Also how do i check the bios version i have now?

Ok one more question guys. I have my drivers downloaded and installed but I am wondering how to update my bios? I dloaded 1.18 and im currently on 1.13 so what do i do to flash my bios and should i even do it? I dont get hibernate support in ubuntu so im wondering if this will fix it. Also i heard something about you have to disable achpi? Thanks Just a quick summary of what to do and a link would help. I know you have to make a bootable drive, put the files on it and run phlash but the details of that i dont understand. Thanks!

You will find ver. 119 here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=288668 on post #8.
There is a download (many thanks to slan) that you burn to a cd and it will flash it for you. You just boot from the cd and let it go. It's what I used to flash mine and I haven't had any problems with it.

There are newer versions of Bluetooth and card reader drivers that actually can work on vista! But you have to look for theme yourself. Find btwinitialupdate.exe (Bluetooth driver update tool) and Ricoh card reader driver.
Compal as many other manufacturers don’t bother to update drivers for their PC's much so the best way is to find them yourself.
