I've got a few months old Sager NP2090 from Xotic.

I did a fresh install of Vista 32bit a few days ago because it was pissing me off.

Works fine now, but there's a tendency for the fan on the bottom left (facing the screen) to rev constantly. It used to do it when I just booted up a game, but now it's constantly spinning when it used to run silent during non-intensive work.

Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

check the forums for bios and fan speed.

a lot of other people have had similar fan problems and it's mostly a bios issue

it could also just as much be a bad coincidence - have you cleaned your fan lately? if not, take a look at how it fares ;)
