I took a bunch of photos while unpacking, thought I might show you guys.
I bought mine from IbuyPower.com (big mistake i know, I'm just glad it finally shipped)
Hopefully this can make your wait a little more bearable... I know I was going nuts while I waited 25 days for mine.
    So without further ado...

    Specs:
    • WXGA 1280x800
    • Intel® Core 2 Duo Mobile T7500 Dual-Core Processor (2x 2.2GHz/4MB Cache/800FSB)

    • Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Keyboard
    • MS Windows XP Media Center 2005 Edition

Also It came with absolutely NO bloatware, only a fresh install of windows.
It runs silent and very low temps.

I tried the COH stress test (forgot to save the pic) but it didnt do aswell in there. It was around 20-30 fps average.
But I played a round on med-high settings, it was pretty good, I kinda need another gig of ram though.

Very nice, but that white and red IBUYPOWER sticker is just plain ugly and huge.

Thanx for the excellent photos. I'm thinking about getting one too. I was wondering if you could give me any input on the keyboard. I saw a Youtube clip presumably of the IFL90 and it seemed to have a terrible keyboard flex. Is that correct/true?

the flex on my ifl90 is not a problem at all. there are some areas of the keyboard (mostly the upper right corner) where if you push much harder than normal, there will be some flex, but that is about it.

yeah i've seen that video before too. i just went over my keyboard. pushing harder than i normally would, i get noticeable flex around f10 and f11, and the upper right of they keyboard (home, stuff like that). also, there is some flex around the upper left of the keyboard, but not as bad. when pushing as if i was typing normally, i really can't notice any flex anywhere, perhaps very very slightly in the first 2 areas mentioned above.

that flex stuff is some ridiculous issues. I have put double-sided tape on my EL80 and it works reasonably nice, but the IFL90 I have had my mits on tonight was top notch - it had zero to non flex, better than my taped EL80, and it was stock or so the salesman claimed at least, tho not sure ofcourse as they don't assemble the units themselves so he wasn't 100% on it.

The brand was California Access, 160i. The matte version. Absolute kick-arse if I may add my opinion as well ;-) So I guess it really just depends whether your reseller is a bunch of muppets or if they do it proper as I suppose it has to do with the actual assembly on the resellers side. Unless it's compal who sorts them proper- in which case, I have no idea and you're best trying them out before buying ;-)
