I have been shopping around for a laptop for about couples of months. It seems compal has very good rep. Fianlly decide to get one before Chrismas in canada.
MilestonePC.com is one of two dealers in Canada and also own one branch in US. Has anyone have any purchasing experience with them?

I agree that the wording on their website is not entirely clear about that. Usually when you order whitebooks, the OS is optional though. You should be able to find a cheap copy of Windows--look for an OEM version to save some money.

Already fixed, now it is clearly stated: OS extra.

Thanks Danny! That should help with some of the confusion I've seen discussed here.
