This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    as stated above.... I havent seen any compals in any stores. Is it branded with another name?

    They are sold as whitebooks and then assembled and sold by a different name.

    Here is the link for the Compal FAQ , its got a list of resellers by country listed, there are 2 in Taiwan, otherwise others will ship internationally.

    I emailed the Taiwanese Compal dealers recently, and they sent me a short email saying Anadem is their HK dealer and that they would pass my email along to the appropriate anadem people.
