    Compal vs Vestel

    Due to delays around the compal FL90 I have been looking for alternitives and am considering the Rock Pegasus 670 based on a chassis by a company called vestal ( http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3588)
    has anybody had any experience of their notebooks before?

    Vestal is a Turkish company. I have seen them on sale in Istanbul. I know a few turkish friends that use them. Good quality notebooks.

    yeah i am having issues about whether to get the Rock 670 aswell i had pretty much gone for the 6224 but now the 670 is out with a T7300, i am seriously considering it. I have compared 14.1 and 15.4 screens but cannot decide. I am not a particularly mobile user so it seems sensible to go for the bigger screen for gaming but i also like the idea of a light notebook. I suppose the main thing stopping me is that noone really seems to know much about the 670 at the moment.

    I' having a hard time believing they actually make notebooks.. I'd really like to know who ODMd for them..

    yeah amongst other things, it seems they are a major brown good manufacturer in europe
