    Hello,

I'm considering buying a Zepto Notus to use at college and some homework. The weight and battery life seem exceptionally good for a 900€ notebook. However, I'm unable to find a decent review or user experience. What I'd like to know is if it has enough processing power for things like Office 2007 and whether it suffers from Zepto-related problems like BIOS/startup malfunction.

I know the Notus has only be released recently, but if someone has one, can you tell me what your experiences are and if you would recommend it.

    Many thanks,
    Dregntael

I don't think the Notus is widely available yet. Last time I looked on the Zepto UK site it still showed availablity as "more than 12 days").

The nearest comparison I can make is with my Sony G11, which has the 1.33GHz U1500 Core Solo CPU. That will run MS Office adequately, once the program is loaded. However, one key drawback of the Notus is the 1GB RAM (and not upgradable, I understand), which doesn't give Vista much space to move.

It will do what you want, but a little slowly at times. But speed and long battery life don't tend to coexist.

Search for reviews of Rock Pegasus 210, they are very much the same.
Processor is single core so it feels sluggish.
