Any word on the possibility of an MX model based off the upcoming core duo model Asus W3J? Would it have customizable options for the processor, hard drive, etc? Any sort of release date timeframe would be awesome too.

I'm Keen on this one as well :) I was going to get a W3V but was holding off for an updated graphics card. I hope P1 has the W3J at release time :)

P1 tells me it's coming in March, but that's all I know.

Rumor has it that w3j is the last priority of release. Furthermore, if ASUS gets behind on releaseing the w2j's and other new duos, the w3j release date will slip into april maybe. ( SAY IT ISNT SO! :D )

I will be waiting too, but no i doubt if there is a new w3j portable one that there will be upgradeable versions.

no. the next MX will probably be based on the Z62j. According to a news letter released from them, it's to be expected late this month and that it will have an Nvidia card. With this information it is definitely not the W3J (too early for it, and it has an ATi).. while the Z62j fits such descriptions.
