So I'm having a couple issues with the drivers and programs on Windows 7 64 bit..
First I will start with Smart Battery. I read the other thread and I moved my Smart battery folder. Now the application runs, but it doesn't actually stop the battery from being charged. What do I do about that?
Second issue is the Wireless Switch. I installed the latest 2.0.0.2 version and it still doesn't work. It shows the icon with the red circle with a line through it.
The third is my Protector Suite isn't working. It keeps saying it doesn't detect any biometric device even though the reader shows up in the device manager.
So any suggestions?

Not quite the same NB but pretty much, very similar as mine.
I don't use Smart Battery so I can't help you with that. Make sure that your "hardware" switch is on, only then you will be able to manipulate with Wireless Switch.
Protector suite is working fine here. Instalation was normal. It could be that W7 64bit is making problems. You are using Vista drivers? -
I fixed Protector Suite. It was just a bad installation. But the wireless switch is on and it works. But the icon is still showing the circle with the line through it and it still says that they are disabled even though they are working.

You probably already know that but... Did you double click on the icon in the tasktray. A new windows opens and then you can select all OFF, BT, Wireless or both on.

For Smart Battery, you need to follow the instructions here to install the "hardware battery controller driver" in Win7.
Tested on x64.

I did the update driver software and had it search in the program data folder and it said it found the driver for Compal embedded controller, but gave an error that it wasn't for this version of Windows. Any suggestions?

Are you using 32bit or 64bit?

64 bit and I wrote the error message wrong. It said driver not intended for this platform.

I had the same problem on my ifl90 too. I had to uninstall win 7 and I put vista business 64 bit on it. I did all the vista updates and reinstall all of the drivers (vista) then I did the upgrade back to windows 7. Doing a clean windows 7 install seemed to be the problem for me. The smart battery and everything works except for the wow video/audio and video camera. Intel had a wireless switch driver for win 7 I had to download so it works now. Took me 2 days to do it all.

As of tonight, I have finished all my driver issues with win 7. For most of the drivers I was able to go into Device manager, find the missing or broken drivers and do a manual driver install. I just put the driver cd in and told the device manager to update the specific driver from the dvd drive. I also used "driver detective" to help me locate which drivers weren't working right.
The wow video/ audio still aren't working and says it only support vista and xp though.
