A crack has appeared near the left hinge of my laptop screen. It started small, then spread a little over a few weeks. Has anyone else seen anything like this? And no, the laptop wasn't dropped and hasn't been mistreated. I'm talking to the supplier about this, but just wanted to see if anyone else had had the same problem.
    Thanks!

Wow, weird. Must be the first time I've heard this happening to a Compal barebone.

i would highly recommend sending it back to your reseller to get fixed. probably something up with the hinge area, causing extra torsion that cracks the plastic.
