I have a 6625WD with Vista Home Premium and when I am in full screen mode in Media Centre the cursor does not appear at all, the only way to navigate is via keyboard shortcuts. If I am in a reduced size screen box the cursor works OK. Any ideas how I can get the cursor to work at full screen. I also have a TV tuner fitted which works OK, but I can't find it listed in Device Manager, any ideas what this is listed under. :)

i have same setup as you, but without tuner and my work without problem. Try to go to mouse settings and enabling something like Display mouse location when ctrl key is pressed or something like that and test after that

I have tried everything I can think of, but the cursor arrow still does not appear in full screen mode of Media Centre, unless I press the windows key when it appears briefly for a short time before disappearing again. I have also noticed recently if I am in full screen mode of a divx player the cursor sometimes disappears if I have been using it for a long time. Any ideas?

I think I have found a solution. In checking with other forums this seems to be a big problem and they have a series of solutions all based on the Mouse folder in Control panel. First try turning off mouse pointer trails, this worked for me and I can now see the cursor in full screen mode. If this doesn't work then try turning off 'show pointer shadow' and 'hide pointer while typing'. Finally if none of these work change pointer display theme from "Windows Aero" to another scheme, probably 3D version of pointer arrow. Lots of people found the cursor disappeared in certain games and one of the above fixes worked.
