I've been asking a lot of questions about the new MX as I'm trying to decide between getting it or the 15" MacBook Pro. I use both Windows and OS X so I'm fine with either OS. The upside to the MacBook Pro is it has a 15.4" display at practically the same weight and thickness, the upside to the MX as I see it is the available transflexive display and perhaps durability, maybe even the standard display is nicer than the MacBook Pro's. Also it seems there might be a few issues with the MacBook Pro but many people seem to be very happy with both Portable One and Asus, I haven't read any bad reviews on either. Is there anyone here who has used the transflective display on any Portable One notebook?, is it nicer indoors than the standard display or only when using it outdoors?
I've been asking a lot of questions but I'm going on a business trip in 10 days and I need to make a decision quickly. One more thing, does the MX have the Asus branding anywhere on it?

While I have a minute away from my family today...happy mother’s day to all you Mom's!

Yes the standard indoor display is nicer than the standard mac display. And the triolcd modification does improve color depth and contrast, the added polarizing glass also reduces glare.

Like the Asus W3 series, the units do have a laser etched Asus logo on the top of the LCD encasing .
