    Hi Everyone,

    Hope you all are well.

    Our delivery for the VBI FL90 WXGA+ is coming soon but there have already been so many delays that we're also looking at other more consistent options.

    We're looking to get in some IFL90 WXGA+ matte screen units to fulfil backorders and orders for sept, oct, nov leading to christmas...

    If we could get these would people in the UK and I guess some parts of Europe be interested?

    From what we understand WSXGA+ is still in serious low supply and some people do complain that the resolution is too high...

    All feedback and opinions are welcome. We greatly appreciate your help on this.

    Thanks

    Personally, I think there is a market for the WXGA+ since WSXGA+ can get hard on the eyes. Gamers will also be looking at the pixel count - FPS trade-off. There's also the minor matter of Zepto offering 15.4" models with gaming GPUs and WXGA and WSXGA+, but not WXGA+, so perhaps there's a gap waiting to be filled.

    The thought of a matte screen may put some people off. The move towards glossy screens was triggered by the improvement in image quality when the anti-glare coating is removed. However, I've just gone back to matte (not by choice) after nearly 3 years with glossy displays and I'm now happy with what I got, but the important factor is that the matte display is very bright. One doesn't realise the reflection problems which get avoided unless you put the matte display next to the glossy one.

    Damn, VBI with WXGA+ ? Matte?! State the price, I'm well sure us over here (Poland) might be interested, and if not for bigger amounts, then I myself might be interesting in obtaining one definetly, from UK. Where's your office again?

    Cheers,

    //m.

    WXGA+ does seem to be the sweet spot at the moment. I guess the way things are going we will have to offer an IFL90 WXGA+ matte. Some people dont like the looks of VBI's and the supply issues have been dragging on.

    Although they should be sorted come October we find that almost everyone likes the IFL90 over the VBI FL90 in appearance anyway so then would the screen be a dealbreaker?

    imachine, we're in Middlesex, but if you're interested drop us email and we'll work something out.

    I have it and is great, I don't like glossy so I'm happy with my mate, I live in the US though. I'm surprised that you don't have it there!

    Regarding the resolution, it's a thing of the video card and the screen size, you can set the display to whatever you want equal or below of the maximum resolution supported. I have a 15.4" screen and running right now at 1680x1050 and is superbe.
