    Hi.

I just wondered, which program controls the media buttons and the remote control on the HEL80? The buttons and the remote control works with windows media player, but I want to extend the functionality to other programs such as winamp.

Is it possible to use the remote for other programs such as WinLirc? Is there a plugin for winamp which supports either the media buttons or remote control?
Again, which program(s) control theese functions?

*bump*...It looks like it's the application RemoteControl is the application which controls the remote (application that comes with Lifeview)

Yey! I got Winamp working with both the media buttons and the remote!!

I found a plugin for winamp which is originally designed for the Dell inspiron series. Luckily, they also work for at least the HEL 80 :):

    Have fun :)

Hotkeys doesn't give you control with the dedicated buttons. It just gives you control with ctrl+pgup/pgdown, ctrl+end ect... I've been trying to get those keys to work with winamp myself, I'll give the plugin a try.

My dedicated buttons works like a charm without the plugin...(I think at least I removed the plugin, it's not in the list anymore...)

Ok, if I'm not in a fullscreen program that works fine... but the second I load up a fullscreener... no go... its ok though, I'm probably going to be hooking up my logitech keyboard/mouse and I know that works for controlling media stuff while in fullscreen applications.

My buttons works when running a fullscreen application...I'm now using the global hohtkeys in winamp (maybe there are leftovers of the plugin?)...Which did you try pyro, winamp hotkeys or plugin? or maybe both?

Did some more testing... its only BF2 that I'm having the issue.. but that game wraps your interface up the way it wants... so that doesn't count... I'm using global hotkeys..
