I have an znote 6515wd (it says 6625wd at the bottom). The problem is that it won't boot. Not even the bios-screen. I have contacted Zepto service and they said the graphic card must be dead. They will send me a new one (go6600 I think).

The question is: How to disassemble to computer. It't stuck under the screen and I don't want to use too much force to tow it apart. I have removed the keyboard, DVD and all screws I can see. Still it's stuck at the middle under the screen.

    Anyone who can help?

Why dont you just send your laptop to them? It will be very likely that you do more harm then good. Or is your warrenty expired?

Yes - The warrenty is not valid anymore. So I will have the repair at least 1000:- SEK cheaper if I manage to open the computer.
Isn't it someone here who have done that?

    I don't understand totally what's wrong..?
If you have the keyboard removed you can change the GPU...!

Afaik, the Go7600 in my Znote 6615WD is soldered to the main/motherboard and from the reports on failed 6615 GPU's I've read, it said Zepto had to replace the entire motherboard.
Did Zepto actually tell you, you can replace it yourself?
And did they send you a Go6600 for replacement?
    Cheers.

The piece with buttoms in front of the screen must be removed, just put something under it and then lift a little, there is a few screws under it...

You cannot easily replace the card with only the keyboard removed.
You should disassemble the whole notebook.
Remove all screws on the bottom of the notebook. Remove the Optical drive and remove the 3 screws in those holes. Remove the keyboard, remove the button cover also. Also take those two screws out.
When the keyboard is removed and you have disassemled the cooler/heatsink you can try to get the card out without removing the C cover. (mousepad cover)

You'll see how that works... don't worry. :)

Yes it wasn't so difficult to disassemble thanks to Zepto USA. BUT with the new card ("The same go6600") I got just a black screen. I switched back to the old one, and now a white screen again. After I while I tested to start again - the bios-screen came up and it booted!

Conclusion: The old card works sometime, but the new one newer works. I have done my work alright, but the new card hasn't. Or I'm I wrong?

I have to try to contact Zepto Denmark again - Puuh. I won't pay for something that don't works.

After contact (mail) with Zepto they said that I got the wrong card!
I have got a card for 6615 and my zepto is a 6515. That's why the screen is blac with the new card.
Is that really true. The new card was almost identical with the old one.
The old was: LF5703AVG002 the new: LF5958AVG002.
Is there anyone who has a graphic card to znote 6515WD? :frown:
