I installed the latest from the Averatec website before I did my factory restore - now I'm wondering whether I should do it again. Last time, I had to install the new one to up my AGP speed to 8x. This time, I just installed the Catalyst drivers, modded by the Patje modding tool, and without updating my AGP drivers, the AGP speed is nonetheless set at 8x now.

So is there any point me updating the AGP driver? And if so, how do I go about removing all traces of the new one? Where is it located?

I've updated to the newest version of the agp driver at www.sis.com , It will not let me turn the agp speed to anything but 0x. Thats pathetic, if u've installed the latest catalyst with mobility modder, and have the averatec agp driver installed, in my much researched and tried opinion, you have the best driver set up out for the 6100.
