Appreciate if you spread the word as well. Many thanks!

This is a poll to ask if you need a recovery CD from Averatec. I'm sure its obvious, but let's make it official and maybe Averatec will do something or BBB can do something for us.

Note that this is a public poll.

I checked the link today and it did not seem to work. Just a heads up for those thinking of trying.

I tried to check out just AveratecForums.com and I got this as a message,

"Due to a hard drive failure, the Averatec forums will remain off line until a backup can be restored.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Be back soon!"

Jim Johnson @ Serenity Consulting posted a possible explanation for the "Hard Drive Failure" at AveratecForums.com. The full post can be read here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=154132

The post was made on 8/10/2007 and AveratecForums.com had been experiencing "Hard Drive Failures" for a month at THAT time. It has been 7 months since then at the time of MY post and about 8 months since the "Hard Drive Failures" began at the time of my post. You be the judge as to whether or not the link is worth clicking. ;-)
